Role Overview:
As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for organizing, analyzing, and reporting business data such as sales, logistics, market research, or customer behavior. Your role will require strong technical skills to ensure the data’s accuracy, quality, and usability. You’ll transform raw data into actionable insights to empower decision-making for business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Implementation: Develop high-performance data pipelines and reporting systems using Python and SQL, working across SQL and NoSQL databases. Ensure performance optimization and consistent data quality.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Create interactive dashboards and maintain documentation for business reporting. Track and monitor critical data metrics to support decision-making processes.
- Business Metrics & Insights: Identify core business metrics and deliver strategic insights. Provide data-driven recommendations for new product features and improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to conceptualize and develop robust analytical systems.
- Data Exploration & Analysis: Conduct exploratory analysis to influence future initiatives. Offer meaningful recommendations based on data trends.
- Prototyping & Product Discussions: Lead rapid prototyping efforts and actively contribute to product planning and development discussions.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related field
- Strong command over SQL and Python
- Excellent problem-solving and quantitative analysis capabilities
- Proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau, Metabase, etc.
- Understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and basic ML/statistical techniques such as classification, regression, clustering, and decision trees
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage end-to-end project delivery
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Eligibility & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related engineering fields
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience with data reporting and analysis
